UO Second Age

My little trammel museum in Fens of the Dead over the past week has just been randomly missing items almost every time I walk into it. These are locked down items, and no one is co-owned to the keep.

Above this chest that was recently sold: viewtopic.php?f=74&t=53810 was a Shemp's Blade or whatever. Nothing amazing, but it just went poof. <---- not solved by Linda

I doubt it, but I feel like I need to get the unique ID of every item in my house now and see if it's possible to track them by a GM.

might have checked everywhere but have ye tore the decoration surounding and on the area of missing item down yet? usually it does show up suddenly then

Yeah, the missing necro regs are under the benches. Derp @ me. However, the missing sword is still MIA everywhere. I deconstructed both rooms where it was in/over.

Yeah, I don't really move anything around in that keep. I especially didn't move anything on that railing.

I sent in pages 2 days straight... ... .... now I'm posting. I PM'd Kaivan on IRC like 10 mins before posting this, but figured maybe a user might know.

if ye tore down that whole surrounding area and checked containers for accidently dropping it in one yer only other real option is gettign in touch with derrick and he could have a look. he's done it before for me as well i messed something up when i was new with hight stacking in my small and lost some stuff he checked for me didnt find anything tho but i did find it back few days later on an alt:P must have accidently picked it up somehow then logged out that alt

Game mechanics never rob you of an item. It's ALWAYS human error. Not helpful in retrieving your items but rest assured, the fault lies with you.

Not trying to be a dick, just saying. I do stupid stuff all the time and I've been playing since the late '90s.

As I told you on IRC the other day, a Shemp's Blade is a quest item, not unlike weather maps. After a certain period of time they will de-spawn even if locked down.

(I hope you didn't pay too much for that Shemp's Blade)
