Veterans vs All PvP nights?

Post by XaN »

Had this idea kicking around for a while...

All (considered) veterans must use 14 skills all at 50. 'ALL' team can use any character they have at there disposal. It's a war, and if necassary a veteran can join the 'ALL' team to help even it out, but he must remain using the 14x50 skills. Certain goals could be set every hour or so, some with PvE involved some not.

I've always wanted to do this with GvG 14x50 skills, never happened...

Maybe it could work here but with a slight twist, since i've noticed there's a lot of new 'UO' players here.

Tell me what you think?

I think a Bob VS Fred war is what we need.

Only rule is your character must be named Bob or Fred, and you must have starting skills, stats, and items. No mounts.

Anyone remember these 50+ man epic battles?

sounds awesome as well...

OP, your idea is great as well although it may be harder to make sure everyone is playing fair.

Why? To add something new/old to this server... player run events have always been better than the automated ones they have now, imo at least.

Why do you come to the suggestions forum to ask a question instead of add an idea?

Because I wanted to understand the logic behind the event.

I remember doing similar things like this when Catskills would go down. My guildies and I would make 50/50s on a random server and try to do pk runs in Deceit.

Newbie wars happened a lot on Test Center, right when the server would erase.
Typically it would be Blue vs. Red, but I have seen four colos before. There would be dye tubs lying all over.

I could really get into the 14x50 idea. Although, 10x70 might be a neat variation as well.
I'd like to see this happen soon.
