crafting skill start-up?

Hola,

Just trying to get some info on which crafting skills are better to start at 0(30 npc trained). I know tinkering is very easy to raise but what about carp, smithing, tailoring and so on which should be started at 50 and which should be npc trained. This would apply for a crafting only char i.e. smith, carp, tink, magery, tailoring, alch and poisoning. Or if anyone has a different/better templete for a crafting character. I have a mule char to mine and chop.

Just my opinion but going by your templete.

start skill - and why

smithing 50 - save a few thousand ingots verses starting at 30..I dislike mining very much
carpentry 50 - the items to work 30-50 (chairs/boxs) require 10-14? boards per attempt
tinkering buy - 30-60+ skill just making items you'll need for carp/smith planes,tongs,pickaxes
magery buy - regs are easy to gather
tailoring buy - cotton, wool and flax are free
alchemy buy - nightshade is cheap & you'll go thro tons working poisoning
poisoning buy - only cause I found smithing/carpenty such a pita
