UO Second Age

Here's the locations of some of them:

Closed Deck of Cards:
In Trinsic. Go to the West bank, run east along that main road past the baker, jeweler and healer. On the backside of the healer building (diagonally Northwest) is a tavern. The gold strongbox in there spawns the closed deck of cards randomly (approximately twice a day).

Forged Metal:
In Vesper, from the bank, cross the bridge that is directly South (where the Tinker is) then immediately cross the one to the West. To the West of the Archery shop there is a Smithy shop. In the gold strongbox on the North side of the shop is where you will randomly find forged metal (should be at least once a day).

Colored Wire:
One is located in the same strongbox (randomly) as the Vesper forged metal. Another one is located in the strongbox in the Smith shop in Trinsic that is directly North of the tavern with the deck of cards. (The Smith shop has a porch.) The third spot is in the strongbox in the Smith shop that is in Lord British's castle. The color of wire will vary, but they should each spawn at least once a day.

Dung:
In or around the North stables of Minoc. (I haven't seen this spawn here, because it's pretty popular.) Most shards have it spawn outside the entrance way.

Jars:
In the building directly Northwest of the West side of the Bank. (with the gray roof) I believe these are weekly, but I haven't gotten any in a while.

Rocks (Large):
To the Northeast of the Bathhouse in Buc's Den. Daily.

Rock (Small):
On the road East of the Terra Keep (across the rock wall East of the Keep. Don't actually go into the Keep). Should be daily, but I have not gotten it.

Fruitbasket:
There are two on the second story of the building in the center of the hedgemaze. There are two on the picnic table on the patio of the Tailor shop in Nujel'm. Also in Nujel'm in the building most directly North from the Bank. Finally, there is one on the table in the Westernmost home building in Yew. These are all daily.

Edit: The ones in Nujel'm spawn on top of static ones... so don't get excited about ones you may see sitting there. When they spawn, they are double stacked.

Waterbuckets:
Two spawn in the hedgerow in the pen of the building in the center of the hedgemaze. Daily.

That's just a few for now. I may add a bit later on. I think the dailies may actually be deactivated for the time being... so good luck!

Also, unless it has changed, UOAutomap used to have a selectable option that would show all the "Rare" spawns locations.

I remember that the gold/silver used to spawn in Buccs to.

Closed Barrel:
From the entrance of Deceit, run North until the second doorway to the right. Go through doorway and then North into the attached storage room. There is a little alcove on the West end with a static barrel. The spawning one spawns on top of it (right on top... not stacked on top). Daily.

Candle:
Two spawn on the same table in Covetous. Go to the dungeon level on Covetous (Lvl 3). Run past the talking statues and take a left into the hall with the tattered painting. Go through the door then turn North and run into the room that is East of the room with the stairs down to the dungeon. There is a LONG table that spawns two candles. Daily.

Just an FYI, I have and have had, spawning rare rune locations in my rune library for a year now.

The "timings" aren't "bad". I don't set a specific time, though I used to collect them early on when I woke up (7 AM CST). I'm not even sure most of them spawn anymore as I do not actively hunt them. The ones that spawn in boxes I don't believe spawn at a set time as the respawn in those boxes depend on when the box was last picked.

when you say 'daily' thats when you are wrong, most spawns are 3-4 days for those items you posted

Waiting around for rare spawns is such a waste of time.
Its like a idoc when nobody has the time, you step away for a minute, and shit has collapsed after checking over it over and over.
Ive got horse dung, once, in the middle of the afternoon.

once you get an item once, its easier to get it again as you have the advantage of now knowing when it will spawn next compared to anyone else
best pick one you really want and sit a char there with scavenger running while you go to work
