Tried asking in game and in IRC.

dude named Gan Dolf has been afk fishing in Britain for about 2 days solid now. I was under the impression that you could be banned for this, or is it only deep sea fishing that is not allowed to be AFK?

you can't fish afk, deep or shallow.

but remember , its only cheating if you get caught.

Are you sure he was AFK? It is in fact legal to gather resources unattended, in the sense that you're still at your computer doing something else. Perhaps operating another account. It goes illegal when you leave the keyboard. Perhaps to rob a bank or do some other fun activity!

Btw, mentioning Gan Dolf's name, do not worry. Ive already pointed out to him its "Dalf" not "Dolf" and that the words should sit together. He responded "yes" to this critic and wandered off. Probably fully ashamed of himself.
