Possible bug??

When I have a pet that is following me, coming from the Stables to the south west of britain. As soon as i cross over that bridge leading back into town, my pet stops following me, and gets pissed off or something. I dunno maybe its something to look into cause it happened with a pack llama and my grizzly bear!
