Exploratory thread for interest in a dueling league.

If there are enough people interested in a league I am willing to coordinate/run it. The league will run for a "season" of (as of now) undetermined length, and culminate in a "post season" grand tournament. The participants' win/loss ratio will determine their seed number in this finals tournament. The prizes for the final tourney will be huge and everyone will get some sort of winnings for participating. There will be no entry fee, and I will raise the prize money myself. I expect there are some wealthy individuals who may be interested in funding such a grand endeavor. I aim to document the league fights with video hopefully, and keep some sort of stats.

Anyway, post here in this thread if you'd be interested... If I can get approx 20 people I will go through the effort of making this a reality. SIGN UP FOLKS!

Ps. If anyone is good with video... There will be a paid position open for a video documentation specialist if this goes down.

I'd be interested however being in Europe timezone will be a huge factor for my (and some others) attendance.

Dexxers can always compete! But the can only use red potions, gm gear, and bandaids!

As far as you European and Australian folks go, ill make sure the system is flexible enough for you guys to get your fights. The finals event will probably be scheduled for a saturday, with lots of time in advance to prepare.

I am coming up with some ideas to hopefully make this interesting... I will be posting the season setup/rules within a week's time hopefully.

Glad to see some healthy interest already. Remember, it costs nothing to enter, and everyone participant will win something at the final event. There's nothing to lose but your silly pride! KEEP EM COMIN!

hey abyz what kind of prizes you thinking of if it happens? or better said what kind of donations are sought after for prizes or just gold?
