Been fishing for 6 hours now and NONE!

Is it true that detect hidden skill helps better loot in chests and fishing?

only thing matters is fishing skill GM
besides that is aprox 1 per hour but you will have very bad days and very good days. yer having a very bad one.

Indeed, sheesh sometimes itll be bad weeks

I just gm'd fishing about a week ago and thus far have pulled in 17 t maps and 15 MIB's. Thats also about 24 hours of fishing time.

Just to play devils advocate I have gotten a lot more than this in my first week - 30 MiBs, maybe 10-11 hours sorry

Just head scratching randomness. Sometimes you have horrible stretches, other times your getting double what average is.

...which seems to be the main mechanic behind almost every aspect of UO.

The Randomness is more apparent with multiple fishers, some days one of the guys won't get anything at all, whereas another will get 3 times the normal amount.

It does seem to balance out in the end though

What I do to really pull in MiB's is have 3 GM fishers on all 3 accounts. Obviously suit one GM fisher with 70-80 archery and GM Tactics incase u run into anything such and Serps or water ele's. you won't be disappointed with how many you pull in doing that, I get about 40-50 mibs within 12 hours of grinding. If you have windows 7, you can watch 2 clients at the same time as if you have dual screens. Usually, I will run 2 fishers while I actually do something interesting on the account I'm not on a fisher with. Just my 2 cents.
