There are different types of furs, rough or smooth. I think smooths are a bit more common, but only from my observation of sale threads, not because I know for certain. There are also rough dark furs, and they can face either direction.

Oh, I see. Yeah, 1 hue difference item ID.. 4598 vs 4599 and 4602 on the smooth ones. TY

the newer 'rough' types were added for a little while before the furs stopped dropping altogether
