Hello all,
A question to bards and tamers 100 intelligence who practice hiding, invisibility spell, and meditation:

As you wonder into dangerous places in pursuit of gold or magic items, why dont you wear a dex suit/even platemail and only take it off AFTER you use the skill hiding and invisible spell? Assume you use provoke or you are a tamer and are not in a hurry of dumping attacking spells to kill monsters, u can take off your armor only when u need to meditate and when the monsters are no longer targeting u?

wouldnt it highly increase your chance of survival?

A well stocked non pvp build can wear at least a leather tunic and not have to worry much. On a pvp build unless you have healing as well as magery and meditation I would not recommend it. On my old tamer I would wear armor because to heal pets you have to get in threat range at times. If I had to start casting though I would take it off to gate, dispel enemy summons etc.
That can eat through mana pretty quick.

You're sacrificing high passive mana-regen rates by wearing armour. It creates unnecessary down-time and keybind clutter and offers no real benefits.

The MoBs are so dumb they can't walk through a door. PK attempts are stuffed with a functioning invis item/recall macro. I hunt in a diaper with GM Wrestle/Med and 100 intel and I can't remember the last time I had to actively Med because the regen is stupid high. Try it out you'll like it :)
