Yeah, this was a cool feature and there were a few grandfathered houses like this, but it's way outside of our target date ;/

Would you be safe from LOS if you could place a small on a tower?

Ironically, you wouldn't be safe if you placed a small on top of a tower. It would make the small house vulnerable. Of course, we can't add in this function here since it was available during pre-T2A.

I Haven't Seen Any Proof This Wasn't Possible During T2A.

It's a lot less amusing when you continue to bring mechanics into question that have been known for an extremely long time without any due diligence.

Here's the line item from the December 21, 1998 patch notes that states that this isn't possible:

• Placement of houses enforces a space limit around the newly placed house.
  • There must be a completely clear 1 tile space all the way around the building.
  • There must be a 5 tile space in the front and back of the house wherein there are no "dynamic" objects. This means that trees and underbrush are OK, but another house is not.

Was just to show people a small on a tower roof. I play OSI and had a small on my tower. I thought it was the right time period but K corrected me.

"I haven't seen any proof that you couldn't put a large tower on top of a small during T2A"

Those were placed back before the new Housing rules were implemented, back then you could place them just about anywhere that wasn't in town. On Pacific some guy had a large brick covering up the fenced vegetable fields on the east side of Moonglow.

These are the sorts of things that I think should be available through silver/trophy points... You would have seen them in era, I think rather than neon masks it would be cool to be able to attain these things somehow.
