REPORTED ISSUE: Killed Sea Serpent then crossed "server line" got double loot

ISSUE DETAILS: I was close to server line south of Jehlom and killed a sea serpent and it was close enough to open its corpse so I could loot, I was still moving and crossed the - - - - - - - line and another corpse loot came up. It was identical to the first so I got double loot.

ENVIRONMENT DETAILS:

STEPS TO RECREATE: Have a sea serpent attack you close to a "server line" in a boat on UOAM and have Razor open corpse when its close enough then cross server line and another corpse loot thing should open up

EXPECTED RESULTS: Double loot

DATE REPORTED: 11-16-12

STATUS: Working as intended

This is highly peculiar, specially since we don't have server lines here.

Well I crossed the - - - - - - - - line south of Jehlom on UOAM, to me that is a server line and what has happened with the serp corpse and losing a gold trimmed metal chest but loot left on boat deck something is going on when you cross that line.

I was unable to reproduce the effects of this scenario. The only thing that's going on here is that the client has reached the "end of the map" in the sense that you're accessing either the top or bottom areas of the local map file. If there is any other information you have on how to reproduce this, then please let us know and we'll see if we can find out what is going on.

I got this bug to work on the same server line in UOAM killing a character on my other client carrying gold, a fishing pole, and a reg pouch. The idea behind it is loot while the boat is just moving across the server line. I have the razor check box checked for open new nearby corpse, and right around the time I crossed the server line a new corpse window opened with the same loot.

Testing the behavior of this when crossing from the bottom to the top of the map, the normal corpse of the dead person or creature "strobes" on the client end (showing an empty corpse and briefly showing the normal loot on the corpse). However, I was unable to see or force any additional loot to appear, regardless of whether I looted it just before accessing the bottom of the map or looted it well in advance.

I'll need some concise information, visual or otherwise, showing this process in action in order to investigate it further.

I got it to work again. I don't know what other detail I can provide other than what has already been said.

I had heard a player named "Homie" exploited this bug to become vastly rich on this shard... I did not believe it at the time... Maybe it was true :/ It was said he was a GM on another runUO server and he had known about this runUO exploit.

I will try to gather information on this bug by way of testing in game... Dont ban me lol.

I tried for about an hour and got the same results. Right at the line the corpse opens and shows loot, otherwise its empty. You cannot be moving forward and pull the loot out because it will be refreshing the corpse and will que your action. Never had a second corpse open.

Alright, I tried this for a final time and I'm getting it to work successfully. Can someone walk me through how to make an effective razor packet video? For some reason when I use it I get white screened and client crashes.

Looked into this. It's not possible to get duplicated loot in this manner.
