Only a small handful of these exist, and the last one that sold had a dozen bidders. Where's everyone at?

well from what I can remember it sold for around that, 250k? (I might be wrong, have happend before)
Anyhow, that sale didnt have a min bid set, at least not 250k, so maybe if you lower it ppl will start bidding.
I would like to have it but wouldn't pay anything near what you want for it and maybe 11 of the dozen think the same..
Just my thoughts -

So there you go Malaikat, 2 sold, one for 250k the other 300k, that means the value of this item is around what you ask as starting bid which in turn means most ppl won't be bidding on this cause of the high starting price.
I guess you didnt buy it so even if u sold it for 200k you would still earn 200k fairly easy.
My suggestion is still to lower the starting bid dramastically or set the price fixed to 250k
Cheers!

Kindly explain to me the difference...
Would you have me believe that the people of UOSA are so dense that simply lowering the starting bid will attract bidders who are willing to pay 250 or 300k for it in the end? You should all thank me for cutting out the bullshit. I'm not taking less than 250k for it. I could set a bid under that and waste you're time if you'd rather. Because apparently that's the process that people here understand.

The difference is that once u started a biding war ppl tend to bid more than they accually intended from the beginning and you attract more ppl with a lower starting bid.
It's your sale and I understand you want as much as possible for this item since economy on UOSA are really screwed.
I wont tell you what to do I just tried to explain why the so called "dozen" of ppl don't bid on this when they did on teh previous auction of this item.

Hmmmm...I don't see a dozen bidders in that thread. I saw prosonic and BoT bidding on it. Prosonic backed out, and BoT got what he wanted. So out of 2 interested parties, one is no longer interested (backed out) and neither is the other since he got what he wanted already. Maybe the market is just not there for an item that at plain sight looks exactly like a ballot box deed. Maybe.
But good luck on your sale that is pushing one week without bids.

That's not the only time it's sold.
Perhaps I'm being naive, but, if something has sold for 250k and then 300k historically, it leads me to believe that's its value. If people would like to bid up to the value gradually than feel free to make me an opening offer...
I'm just trying to be efficient.
