"sid" parameter in forum URLs

Post by Mikel123 »

I'm having a weird issue on my work machine, accessing these forums. When I visit most pages, I get a "sid" parameter in the URL of forum addresses. And I don't seem to be able to stay logged in. Additionally, I seem to get a freeze frame of the forum. I.E. if I manage to log in at 1:30pm, then refresh around 2:00, the board is exactly the same - same "most recent post" listings, same notation about whether or not I've read the thread, etc.

This is using Windows 7, Chrome (regular and incognito windows).

Could be some kind of security program on the work machine, but just figured I'd check and see if anyone else had this issue.
