New Player never gets Pk'd

Post by Zailm »

i play this shard since abit more then a month. and i must say its the best shard i ever tried tbh.

there is just one issue i see atm:

pk's have no chance to kill me..the only time i died was to a red in shame lvl 2. thats actualy because i decided to fight him instead of recalling away. however shame lvl 2 seems a little buggy, non existing things blocking me all the time so i died to this reskilling pk.

but the rest of the time when i farm i can easily escape. i dont even have a recall macro. just a hotkey and then i have to target the rune. im used to a shard where u couldnt spell recall once u got attacked. you have to fight like a man or find a way you can run but recall is not possible for the next 2 minutes or so..it also wasnt possible to recall inside/outside of dungeons. you had to go out and recall there.

i dont know how it is to be a red here. but it must be very frustrating. all they see when they enter dungeons is a blue spelling recall and disappearing..its also funny how mages recall at brit gy, once they realise they will lose the fight.

is recalling meant to be that easy ? as i said i love this shard and there is no other shard which can convince me to leave this one. dexxers are actualy good here, purple potions work well for pvp, not too much secures so houselooting is possible. yeh i really love it.

i just want to know how it will be with "recall" in future..as it seems now i will never play a red here.

Greetings

Zailm

PS: im not even using a ghost or any other kind of scouting.

I manage to pk people all the time, and I run solo more often than not. Your aggressors are doing it wrong.
Save yourself the shame and embarrassment and just assume that if you can't understand me...you're the one who's retarded.

Maybe it's because you're awesome ! :)

But seriously, for a person used to a shard on which recalling while being attacked was impossible this might seem a little strange. I know it was for me.

But you can get used to it ;) And until you become red it's not a problem, it's a blessing :)

Very true the lack of "in the heat of battle" thing really makes it that much easier to escape. There are death gates here so watch how you follow me *cough* i mean ppl. Archer bots, spell bots, hally bots- heck we even have resource gathering (via purchasing from npc) script makers (using razor only) for all sorts of things. Razor is by far > uoassist. but there are other tools out there that make everything much easier a.k.a. - autohotkey or autoitv3 anything that combines multiple actions/keys to one single key gives a major advantage.
You'll also notice the object delay on here is much higher than most othere runuo or any emu server for that matter! We have a 1 second object delay where as most have a 0.5 second delay. If you can determine when someone uses the last object (i.e: potion, food, arming weapon) you can take super advantage of the situation then. It only takes 1 second if that to be able to get recall off. and if someone just equipped their hally you have 1 second before they can drop it to target you with whatever spell. Also pet fatigue is a huge thing as well as being able to save targetable locations by area! Dropping to relative locations makes "escaping" even more easy. Hope this broadens your view that much more. Enjoy

So I take it you're issuing a challenge? Character name please and perhaps someone can help you get PK'd more often :)
