Thank you for having an amazing GM staff. I was spamming guards in all my macros at the Brit bank not realizing that it was a problem. I was squelched on 2 characters (sep accounts) while macroing. The staff was very fast at informing me what i was doing wrong, and then removing squelch when it was clear i understood. As someone who, despite best attempts to follow the rules, got in many fights with OSI staff over the years (i beta tested, and went through 4 banned acounts), its a welcome relief. The problem has been corrected and your GM staff is awesome.

Re: Awesome GM staff
what is "spamming guards" ?
Re: Awesome GM staff
Its when you have a macro say "guards" every millisecond.Kamora wrote:what is "spamming guards" ?
Its wrong because it causes mass lag and screws up anyone reading their journal.
Re: Awesome GM staff
To be specific as to what the GMs told me, guards in macros is okay, just not in high population areas. As long as you avoid those, you can indeed put guards into your macros. Just do not do it at the Brit bank or other high population areas.
Edit: Just for clarities sake, do not spam at all, for any reason, in high population areas.

[09:08] <Derrick> I unsquelched ya. It may have been just an error in your macro, but you were saying "gy" over and over again, pretty fast
