Resistance is futile. Once enough acquisitions have been made by giving monetary compensation to the land owners at the Bog of Desolation, the remainder of the housing there will be demolished under a mandate from Lord British.

The case has already passed a voting by the public transportation committee of Britannia (jekkis) and rumor has it that Lord British is more than willing to seize the area in favor of reconstructing the highway from Britain to Vesper! You have been warned. Give up your housing for a fair reimbursement while you still can...the further you resist, the less money the committee has available to spend on purchasing the land.

Seriously, though. How about the entire UOSA community gets involved with this and we all together re-build that road?

I don't think there was ever a road, but the lands should be 'desolate', hence the name.....

I'm back in the money at the moment, and still have the CBD offer on the table. If the home is significant, perhaps the CBD and some gold would pursuade a current resident to move along.

Oh, I know for certain there was a road in Ultima VII. If you didn't have Swamp Boots you were almost certainly getting poisoned on that road.

However, we're a bit under the mark for the buy-out on that one.
I'd be willing to figure out a full tower deed towards it, but double is more than we can handle with the Fund right now.
