Looking to buy a tower that faces a road or has a road not too far in front of the tower. Willing to pay as much as a large brick over deed if I like the location.

Prefer:

Facing or near a road

On grass

Please send PM or post here, please include pictures.

Thanks

I am sure someone out there has a road facing tower that they are not using very much. As the OP states, if it is good and to my liking I will pay as much as a large brick over!

Seems like towers not even next to a road are selling for keep deed...

Not sure which towers you speak of but I follow or rather pretty much camp in the housing forum all day long and I rarely see any selling for 2 smalls over tower deed. I am not looking for one near a town, only near a road. Will post a picture of the general location I am interested in.

Towers are easily going for a keep deed at the moment. Last one we sold there were multiple parties interested in it for a keep deed and hurt feelings when we accepted a keep deed offer without giving everyone the opportunity to outbid. Check my sales history and the sales history of Phatt Abbot and you'll see 4/5 of the last 5 towers we've sold were for a keep deed.

Quick search of the housing forum yielded the following information:

Keep (abbot's tower no special features)
tower deed +small deed+my old house(placed large brick)+20k cash
deed + 3 smalls
deed+2 smalls (swamp)
deed + 2 smalls
keep (Casey's amazing tower with smalls surrounding it, secluded like few others)
tower deed +small deed (swamp - sold twice for same price in a short time span)
keep (secluded hedge maze tower)
keep (Eo's windmere)
keep (yew crypt)
deed + 2 story (ice tower with a sweet fish tank deco)

5/11 is hardly 4/5 and even out of those 5 only 2 maybe 3 merited a keep. I know the price is determined by what the buyer is willing to pay and therefore I stated clearly what I am willing to pay in the OP. Additionally, I am not looking for a tower near town, near a gate or even a secluded one. Therefore, there is no way I am willing to pay a keep deed for what I am looking for. I do appreciate your input though and am quite happy you are getting such sweet offers for your properties, I hope you continue to flip those houses in the same manner. As for me, I will continue to look for the tower I want at the price I am willing to pay :D

PS

Decided to check your sig:

tower deed +small deed+my old house(placed large brick)+20k cash (621,520 taking the brick at deed value)(keep cost: 665,200) - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=38636&hilit=%5BSOL ... OR+SALE%5D
deed + two smalls - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=38319&hilit=%5BSOL ... OR+SALE%5D
Keep - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=38272&hilit=%5BSOL ... OR+SALE%5D
deed+44k - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=34199&hilit=%5BSOL ... OR+SALE%5D
deed+88k - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=34167&hilit=%5BSOL ... OR+SALE%5D

One of your last 5 towers sold for a keep AKA 20% (of what I checked, I bet if I go farther that number will shrink further)

PPS

Abbots last 5 towers:

keep - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=38536&hilit=SOLD
unknown (even if it sold for a keep it was bought by a player that owns a parralel castle, well worth a keep deed for the buyer) - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=36263&hilit=SOLD
tower deed + 3 smalls - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=36204&hilit=SOLD
unknown (near ace arena nowhere near a keep deed IMO) - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=36204&hilit=SOLD
deed + 2 small - viewtopic.php?f=72&t=34306&hilit=SOLD

one out of 5 confirmed, even if it is 3 out of 5 (which i doubt) it still falls short. 80% of your towers sold for keep deeds? UHH NO! :P

I have bought and sold at least 5 towers in my modest real-estate career and all were bought for no more than tower + small (some were freaking awesome and I got one for 20k over and another for 5k over)

Good luck in with your future transactions, may the shwartz be with you

If you have a tower in this area that you are not using or have no need for, send me a picture with the location and if it is what I am looking for I will pay as much as a large brick over the deed price.

Cheers

The last 5 between me and Phatt - which is the last couple of months as we haven't really been active with idocs - have been going for keep deed or more, except for a 24 hour auction. And as we're talking about towers on grass, let's exclude the Dagger Island and swamp towers from your list..

Keep (tower deed +small deed+my old house(placed large brick)+20k cash - then sold the brick for deed+88k so all up Keep+88k
Keep (abbot's tower no special features)
keep (Casey's amazing tower with smalls surrounding it, secluded like few others)
keep (secluded hedge maze tower)
keep (Eo's windmere)
keep (yew crypt)
deed + 3 smalls
deed + 2 smalls

Hehe, that you sold the brick for over deed matters little for the original translation but I am certainly not one to bicker. Even so, just because you sold towers for keep deed doesn't mean I will buy one for that much :D

I do sincerely hope you keep making good money on your properties as both you and abbot seem like honest and decent guys from the forum posts I've seen and from the comments of others not to mention your IRC name is one of my favorite people of all time.

One love,

Cheers

Most recent tower sales...

Blink's tower in bloody plains, near road - deed + 2 smalls

Tower on dagger purchased by me - deed + small

You shouldn't have a problem getting a tower in that area for the price you want.

*shrugs* Dagger island is basically swamp, and is the biggest duplex-area in game so that is a fair price for your tower.

I've sold keeps at deed+small and smalls at deed+castle. Pricing fluctuates and there are always good and bad deals.

My advice to all players contemplating the jump into large housing: do it now. Housing is again saturated and prices are on the way up. This thread, most of all, is showing the trend of towers increasing in value. There was a patch 4~ months ago that opened hundreds of large housing spots. Supply was greater than demand, prices dropped. That dried up and prices went back to normal. Then, most recently, we've had a patch that restricts spots and probably removed a few from the game so we can all expect prices to go up and up. I'm also seeing more smalls in the gaps between larges, during my runs of Britannia.

Housing is a limited resource and our playerbase is ever expanding. Kazinga!!

I agree completely which is why I stated clearly what I am willing to pay. This way, people who want a keep deed for their tower need not waste time offering it to me :)

I am actually trying to get rid of some properties simply because I don't use them and just refreshing seems silly. If it was about money I would just spend my time farming the gold but I would rather just help out a new player trying to get into the game. Just sold a small house for 1gp over deed :D
