UO Second Age

I recently joined the server. I am looking forward to meeting/befriending/killing many of you.

I played in the time frame before and after Renaissance, and have been looking for a server like this for some time now. I will be telling my friends who played UO, voting for the shard on the gamer lists, and doing everything I can to increase our population.

My character's name is Griswald. I roleplay a barbarian/norse type warrior. You will see me with long red hair and a beard toting my large battle axe around Britain.

I would certainly be interested in joining a guild. I've been on two days now and have mastered swords and tactics, hope to be GM soon.

Just wanted to say hello. If you see me in game, come introduce yourself. We'll share a bottle of ale at the tavern or deadly blows on the battlefield. I am content with either.

Hi all,

I am also new here. I ran a decent size guild [top10 on Server with 150+ people] on Europa and after a few years of WoW and recently SW:TOR both myself and my wife were talking about all the fun we had in UO, be it the farmers invasions, the Ancient Oak Tournaments, my first steps with FrY in Yew and hers with ORC in Vesper. We both played a lot back in the day 1997-2003 and since she found and we installed the client on Saturday we have the bug again for those blue lines, social interactions with a risk attached and possibly what is the best PVP/social sandbox ever in an MMO.

I would like to say a big thank you to Superman for giving me a startup armor and weapon kit and also to Grom and ArchAngel? [may have been the guild name] for being stand up people and taking the time to talk to an old vet who had forgotten more than they thought they had .

It will take me a while to get up and running but I look forward to meeting/befriending/dying at your hands/killing some of you.

Welcome both, second age is the best free shard out there at the moment, i was abit like you, played back in the day, thought i would remember like riding a bike, but NOPE all gone hhaaha.
