UO Second Age

After a good deal of thought, I have decided to sell Shadowmire Castle and its surrounding houses. Included are the main castle, 1 L-shape, and 7 smalls. The guild that was using the area has left and I have no need for so much housing. All proceeds will go to a retirement party or the trash can!

The sale is for the entire town as a package; I will not split the houses up. Everything in the houses is included as well. The starting bid will be deed price for all the houses combined, roughly 1.5 million. I reserve the right to change my mind, but doubt that I will.

One thing needs to be made clear about this sale. I have asked for the GM blessings to be removed, so they are NOT included in the sale. As soon as Derrick has time they will be turned off, so do not count on keeping them for long. I imagine the sale will facilitate them being turned off sooner rather than later. That being said, the location is great for a guild and has history on the shard. If a guild were to establish themselves and earn a place in the community, after hard work and dedication, the GMs may decide to let the decorations be re-earned. This, of course, would be my preferred outcome, but that isn’t for me to decide.

Call me noob, but I don't know how to post screen-shots (and am too lazy to learn!), so if someone wanted to post a screenshot of the map I would appreciate it. I'll give em a tip for the effort too.

Wow this is an awesome post. I really hope it doesnt go for just deeds and that a guild gets it and turns it back into a town.

I would purchase this for guild use, however I do not have the room to hold all of these spots

Sad to see this turn into a ghost town, but deff a great location for a comfortable to well off player who is ambitious and looking to start off with a good guild town. I like how Castle sperates the town from the outsiders. This was one of the first shard icons i was in awe about when i first explored this server.

Rather than selling it Sebben should try and have Derrick turn it into a permanent town. With no player owners just put in a few vendors a bank and a guard zone. Turn it into a permanent icon

Someone has show some interest in using it for shard events. I am currently in discussion on the details, so will be suspending the sale for the time being. It has always been my hope that the area be used for the shard, so I'm going to see how this plays out.

to kain and IL wish it would have turned around, it was the first guild to take me in and help me out. good memories great spot hope something good comes of this.

Cool idea but def not era acc. I think it would be cool if it were a town with no guard zone. Give the pks another bank!
