IRC Perma-Ban

So I was perma banned from IRC chat for being a douchebag. I have no other excuse than I was having a REALLY bad day and was feeling argumentative. Some off-color, midget-related discussion was occuring and I was told (by Braden) to cease and desist. I, in a fit of nerd rage, cried "censorship." I got a temp ban.
So, the ban expired and I came back and said some really really horrible things that I really really wish I hadn't said. This is a great shard (and FREE) and I am having a lot of fun here.
Just wanted to apologize (publicly) and see if there were any way to make amends?
EDIT: I did some searching on the wiki and on the forums too to see if there were any other "official" means of doing this and I found none. If such a method exists, I wasn't aware of it and would gladly take a link or something to that effect if available.
Thanks,
Old Enough to Know Better

It's up to whoever bans you more or less.
The admins are not heartless, but not being dumb is a great way to avoid things like this.

Yea. I generally tend to avoid such blatant displays of base idiocy. Yet, like most, I am all too human.

I commend you for understanding and accepting your mistake. I am sure this was a first step to make ammends on the matter, however, admins have expressed on other occassions that pleading for ban forgiveness in a public forum was not the best way to go about it (although most of the ppl posting publicly about it have done it in an aggressive and non-repenitive manner and not in a mature way like you have). I'd recomend you PM Braden (or whoevere issued the ban) and Derrick with what you have expressed here, and I'm sure they'll understand we all have bad days.

Good idea, thank you for the suggestion. I looked around but I didn't see where that was expressed. I'm not trying to dig myself any deeper here. Haha. Should I delete this post?

Nah, I think it might serve others to understand the correct way of going about it.
