Auction: Blanche Island

I reserve the right not to sell if I dont get an offer I feel is fair. I will accept silver or gold for this auction @ 10g per silver. This is a great location, the island spawns 1 mongbat which I tame and leave tame on the island. I used this island to idle or to store pets and never had a problem. You can sourround this island with boats if you need storage, or you can even use it to practice dueling. The possibilities are endless. I do not play enough to make use of it so im just refreshing. Would be nice to see a guild or something make use of it. Lets start the bidding off at 500k.

Yes, I suppose "g" could stand for "grand", but usually that is "g's", and I don't think I've ever seen anyone in UO refer to gold in g's

. Maybe I've just not paid enough attention, though.

Yeah, I get it. But it really was sold to a private bidder, for 1.7 mil and a CBD, which is 2 mil in total. The buyer is a person of ill repute and wishes to be kept anounemous so that he will not be griefed. Furthermore, Telemon brokered the deal and can confirm it. Just so you know, I always practice good business. And dont pull the fake private bidder card.

hmm, you dind't have a buy out did you?
Why not just post the private bid here to get other ppl the chanse as well?

Im all in favour to keep a private bidder private but this was not an auction in my opinion.

None of the other PM's I got approached what I was wanting for the island. If people wanted it they shouldnt have been low balling me. The buyer was willing to meet my terms so he got the island. Was my island, so I sold it. I dont owe anyone here anything. Sorry you feel that way.

I don't have a problem with you, or that you made a deal with soomeone we don't know.
And I dont haeva problem with not knowing him either.
Just that I was interested in the island, I never put in an offer since I waited for your PM reply.
And even tho I know u stated u didnt want to sell for a low price you yourself set the opening bid of 500, so why should anyone bid more than that? Honestly.

Anyway, I guess the island is worth 2 mill so gratz to you and the seller, just too bad I never saw the bid

The island was sold before you pm'd me, I just hadnt made it to the forums to post it yet. Otherwise I would have made you aware of the offer.

I think the island was probably worth more than 2mil, i agree the should have posted the 2mil, could have got more, but in the end, the guy got a good deal, u got a good deal, that is all that matters.
