I went to buy a full spellbook for a friend and grabbed my id wand uppn iding a spellbook on a vendor it simply said spellbook no number of doells did something change? Or do you physically have to use the skill item id?

You have to use the skill to determine the value.

item id skill will show the amount of spells it contains 64 = full book
