assuming you were in the center tile (i hope you were)....
you must have been training magery. in order to not get killed macroing magery in your home,
1. you should keep eval int 0 to minimize damage, making an earthquake/flamestrike combo not enough to kill you.
2. not let your macro cast a damage spell until your health is back to 100.
3. macro while on a mount. this makes it much harder for the pk to time earthquake. if you are unmounted, they simply wait for you to begin casting. if you are mounted, there is no movement, so it is much harder to time correctly.

You can also do your health check jsut before you take damage, for example:
If Mana >= XX
Cast Flamestrike
Wait For Target
If HP's >= XX
Target Self
...
Tha effectively reduces the window to make damage considerably.

If HP's >= XX

lol, i just set up a lazy lock pick macro. standing next to the wall.
