UO Second Age

How does the hair dye from an NPC vendor work? I know it affects hair & beard, but does it just change your hair to a random color? Do you have to keep applying bottle after bottle till you get what you want?

it's like a dye tub, for your head. you choose the color and it stays that color. Not sure how white you can get it, try it out.

When i played UO so long ago the bottles were colored so you just bought it based on what you saw.
