UO is a huge game and I havn't played it from many of the angles, what's the usefulness of a bankable ship?

its usefull for many reasons. safe trading or banking with a orange char are two examples.

ugh, if i wasnt so irresponsible with refreshing boats, i'd be all over this.

another reason its well worth it:

If you need to transport large amounts of items to your bank, and have a location that's secure (keep wall, castle cy, etc), you can transport a lot of items/gold or whatever.

definitely worth his buyout for someone who won't fail like me at refreshing the boat.

i used to use miller's boat for banking large sums of gold from my yew gate vendor. Gate from inside house to secure location, then gate from boat to secure location.

can you recall off the key? and if so can you copy the key onto a newbed key and recall of that key?

You can only recall off of the original two keys now. Any copies (even onto a nub key) will be unrecallable.
