I called my cousin right after midnight and got to enjoy this lovely exchange:

*ring* *ring*
Me: Hey!
Cousin (slurring): Hey! Happy New Yarghlghlghlblegh!
Me: Happy New Yarghlghlblegh to you too. What the [expletive] was that!?
Cousin: Yarghlghlghlghlblegh!
Me: Dude, you ok?
Aunt (in the distance): Awww! In the mouthpiece!? Lemme go get the other phone.

My 1st conversation of 2012. Great start to the new year.

Thank God! Hay, you think dooms day could be moved up some? If we are all doomed in 2012 I sure don't want to spend all year humping furniture up and down stairs, just to get knocked on the head in December.
