2000 REWARD

I have lost me ship; a large dragon ship by the name of
The Krakken's Revenge.
I was out five nights ago doing a little fishing and had to leave rather suddenly. I recalled home, but now cannot return.
I left my fish-chest on deck as I usually do, but fear I inadvertently left it on the Aft side of the mast, thus blocking the recall point.
Please, if anyone happens to see
The Krakken's Revenge, please send me the coordinate. She is a fine ship and deserves to be rescued.
I am fairly certain I left it somewhere in the viscinity of Buccaneer's Den, Occlo, Magincia, Moonglow, and Nujel'm.
I have spent many hours searching for it, but to no avail. A little assistance would be appreciated.
I will pay 2000 gold to the first person that PM's me the correct coordinates to my ship.
I know it's not a lot, but not bad if you happen to see it while out on the high seas yourself.
Thank you.

Are you sure it didn't decay?

Hey, I don't mean to be picky. I want to help you, but that's a really big area. Can you narrow it down a little more than that?

Yes, I am sure. It was last Wednesday evening that I left it, which means I still have 8 days before it decays.
(note: Ships, like houses, decay after 14 days.)

Thank you Atraxi, but no, I cannot. I have at least eight hrs. in searching the area. I use my two other ships to sail a search/grid pattern. If I could for certain narrow down the area, I'd of found it myself by now. Also, although I always intend to drop anchor before I recall away from my ships; since I was careless and had my chest on the wrong side of the mast, it is highly possible that I forgot to drop anchor last Wed. (12-21-11). So drift may be a factor as well.

This brings up something I've always wondered about. What kind of drift could a person see if they were to fail to drop anchor? I've always been good about dropping anchor but have always wondered about that.

Yeah I spent about two hours this morning looking for it. I was bored, so I thought "Hell, why not?"
I found 2 boats, but neither was named. Since you mentioned a name, I didn't figure they could be yours, so I didn't record their locations.
The boat won't drift. Dropping anchor doesn't do anything unless you want to drydock the boat.

I can not speak from experience, but I have heard, from time-to-time, of ships not being exactly where they were left. Now, this does not include ships being left unlocked and taken for joy-rides by scoundrals. And just a few days ago a friend of mine, who I've been trying to coax into getting a ship, got one and was playing around with it and swears his ship drifted out a little ways from land because he didn't drop anchor when he popped ashore to hit a public Moongate. Now, he could have just been mistaken, but I always drop my anchor anyway.
Hehe, I beter stop saying what I "always" do since I used to think
"When I leave stuff on deck, I always leave it between the mast and the bow, and never behind the mast."

Then I hope you enjoyed what meager means you got, as you must be a magician among mages. For when I go out fishing I never unlock either side of my ship. Thus, you must know a secret to gaining access to a locked ship. There's that "I never" again
I bow to you oh great one.
(of course we all know that only counselors can get onto locked ships and into locked houses - but (points to time2a and chuckles) does make for a cute story)

I know how to get onto a locked ship, but that is privileged pirate information. I haven't seen it while fishing.. Though a meager 2k to find a boat isn't much inspiration.. hehe
