Putting a Grinder together
Mace GM
Tac GM
Resist GM
Parry GM
After that it gets sticky
I'm thinking
Heal 90
Anat 90
Magic 25
Track 20
Hiding 75
My thoughts were that the parry would make up for the not GM anat & heal. But I did the math with a pen in my hand so I could only count to 7 I could drop Hid to 60 & trak to 15 & GM anat/heal or ??? I'm open to thoughts

PvM macer Question
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish on UOSA and he will stay up until his wife yells at him to get to bed.
Re: PvM macer Question
GM heal and anatomy. Then you should be good with a 70 / 30 (hiding / magery).

That's exactly how I would handle the situation too.Pirul wrote:GM heal and anatomy. Then you should be good with a 70 / 30 (hiding / magery).

Re: PvM macer Question
Why 70/30? I'd go the reverse, and have 70 magery and 30 hiding. I think 70.1 Magery is enough to never fail a level 4 spell like Recall, and I'm not sure there's any situation in which I'm content with a 70% chance of hiding but wouldn't be content with a 30% chance of hiding. 70.1 Magery also allows for around 75-80% success with level 5 spells like Magic Reflection.

Macing 100
Tactics 100
Anatomy 100
Healing 100
Magic Resist 100
Parry 100
Magery 70
Tracking 30
That should get you through any situation you might encounter PvM. If you're worried about Hiding, don't waste 30 points. Get yourself a bunch of invis items as they're better due to the fact you can hide in an aggro crowd if need be.

Re: PvM macer Question
Thanks all, I am thinking about something close to what Brymstone is showing. My Resist is still low *high 50s, as is my heal. I have not turned Magic up & Hide down yet. That said with GM gear and some pots I was killing Elfs so I think I'm on the track I wanted. As to PvP I won't be hunting a fight with this toon, but when it comes, with a lot of 25 & 35 dex PKers out there I was thinking 1) run/recall/hide 2) if I can't do 1, cast curse, smack away and hope they don't have to many red pots.Brymstone666 wrote:Macing 100
