The different ores - what is the different?

i try to find infos about the different ores and what the different is, when i make armor from them. But i found nothing about it. Can someone explain this for me, or maybee post a link about this.

There is no difference in armor or weapons made from different tipe of colored ingots. The only difference is the color of the armor. No armor bonuses, or durability mods apply.

pff, why? i play to many years ago uo t2a to remember. Was this there the same? What ever - i dont like it


and whats up with exeptional crafted items? is there a bonus?

Yes, exceptional items do have a durability bonus.

I believe they have a damage bonus too.

I think bonus to colored armor and weps came after UO:R...not sure if even up to AOS or something like that.

To my knowledge GM weapons / armor (exceptional) Are equal to Force / Hardening magic items. A bit off topic, but useful information I thought.

I do remember before i quit OSI there were Bulk Order Deeds that you could fill for chances to get a "Dull Copper on up through Valorite" Smithing hammers. These would allow you to craft Magic items. There were colored sewing kits as well.

I tested this a long time ago, there is no armor difference in the diff colors.
