The title says it all how do i trap a box. What do i need. So on and so fourth

you need: an explosion potion, some ingots, a tinker's tool, and a container

dclick tool, target potion, target box

This is not proper material for tinkering items. Thats the system message every time i target the potion

try targeting an ingot

Ive also done that but it dosent show me anything related to traping a box

If neither of these works, you probably don't have enough skill to make the trap.

You need: a poison potion, an explotion potion OR a crossbow bolt; at least 1 ingot; a "lockable" container (not necessarily lockable in the sense of having been crafted as one, simply that it be one of the ones you can lock: a crate, a box or a chest, NO pouches, bags, barrels, etc.); a set of tinker tools (and enough tinkering skill to make traps).

1) Dbl click tinker's tools
2) Target ingots (a single iron ingot is all you really need)
3) Scroll the menu options all the way to the right
4) Choose the type of trap
5) Wait for targetting cursor
6) Trap container

If the box is on the floor of a house you own / coown / are friended to, then you should not get a count when the target dies.

As for the rest of the materials, be sure you have them in your backpack.
