UO Second Age

Remember when the majority of the people ran through the streets of Brittainia with black clothing, black sandels, and neon hair? I remember when you were rewarded for your time spent contributing to the economy of Brittiania. I remember when.

The other morning I signed on to find that a ticket system has been implemented to trade items for rewards. I immediately traded all my magic weapons and armor in for tickets. I chose the special hair and beard dye, and used them as soon as I could.

Thank you Derrick, for this great idea. I have been working on getting these items, through trophys, and wasen't sure exactly how the trophy system worked. This ticket system is simple and efficent, and I am glad to see it in action. Now I dont know what to do with my trophys.

I like the direction this server is heading, and woulden't mind if it took a few more steps further in this direction. i.e. Lumberjacking supplementing damage while using an axe. (My Favorite). All in good time I suppose, but I am more than satisfied with the way the server now.

That was UOR... wrong era

Just a couple of small notes: The ticket system will only be in for a small time, and this was a T2A feature that was held during the month of October in 99 as part of the Clean up Brittania system. We also won't be adding in any out-of-era mechanics to the server either.

I'm really glad you and everyone is having a good time with this although I certainly can't take all the credit. Many contributed to getting this in, and there had been some prodding for it for a while. So far it's seemed like a great success.

The trophy system is and will continue to operate, might as well save up for something big

Yeah I took time off of UO during the clean up britannia and when I came back I was dissapointed that I missed it which left me quite upset.

I'm glad that I was able to participate in it this time around.

Sadly I didnt even know about it until a couple of days ago, and didn't know that you could use the trash can in your house to create tickets... Meanwhile I gated a huge bag of loot to skara to dump the whole bag in, which failed, left me putting everything in one at a time, and someone took the bag

Oh well, still lots of fun.
