about moongates

Hello everybody, me and my body Wishmaster decide to return back to ultima after 7 years .. and we saw that a lot has been changed.. first of all i wanna ask about moongates.. is it always randomly travels you or is there a trick to go to where u want ?

im sure there will be a lot of things to ask but not in mind at the moment..

It's not random but no you won't ever get a choice. The system by which you travel isn't really worth worrying about. Just be patient and you'll find the city you're looking for. Unless you're looking from trammel. . . .

If you really want to know, I found a page that describes how it works. Not that the vast majority bother with figuring this out. Most of us just keep walking through until it gets us where we're wanting to go. Here's the page:
