How are people casting 2 spells at once? Also, how are people running while casting? I've tried to cast one spell and then cast another and it won't let me. And everytime I cast a spell, I can't move for a few seconds.

People don't cast two spells at once nor do they cast while moving. They probably got interrupted and were then allowed to move since the spell was canceled. I don't have an explanation for the two spells at once. It isn't possible.

edit* explosion has a delayed effect time on it so that may be the two spells at once. They cast explosion and then energy bolt and they both hit at the same time.

Perhaps you have bad lag? Spells are fine here, no one is running while casting. Now, if they are casting a first or second circle spell, it might appear that they are running while casting, as those spells are indeed very quick.

I'm not trash talking or anything. I'm new to using a mage. I played Baja for like 2 years back in the T2A days. I just never played a mage, so I GMed a mage on this server. I cannot win a fight with him. I win more fights using a warrior. I was just wondering if there is something I'm missing. If I cast a spell, the person I'm fighting always runs off before I can target them, and I can never catch them. It seems like everytime I'm running, a mage is able to keep up with me, cast, and hit me. If anyone has any tips that could help me, I'd really appreciate it.

yea what it sounds like is just pure experience and practice,
keep at it and youl start to get some wins

players may pre-cast an existing spell prior so you might of thought 2 spells came out at once?
