This site's spawnmap utility....
I am running win 7 64 bit. When I try to install the spawnmap utility from this site, it gives me an error I think due to my win 7 64 bit. I have tried administrator mode and also various compatibility modes to no avail. Anyone know of a way to make this work or of a spawn map utility that works with 64 bits?

What 'spawnmap utility' are you talking about?
The installer comes with the Client, Razor, UOAuto-Map and Ventrillo.
Assuming you mean UOAM, it works fine on my 32b Win7, but I can't speak for 64b.
There is no option to show spawns in UOAM, that I am aware of.

Its called UO Spawn Map Utility, from the downloads section of The Second Age.

Oh, yeah, then I have no idea. Never used it.
What's it supposed to do?

I guess show a map that shows where different monsters spawn and whatnot.

Sounds boring. Why not ask, or go play the game until you find them?

I just checked this out. It ran fine for me on XP.
If you can't get it to open, don't worry, you're not missing much.
The information is very general and semi-accurate at best. Much of it is incomplete. For example pretty much the whole area between Britain and Trinsic is spawnless according to the map. Many spawns I know of, like Yew liches, are not accounted for. Dungeons and the new lands are not included.
It's maybe worth a look to get a general idea about which zones have the heaviest spawns of ettins or air elementals or whatever.
