Actually, it is not hard AT ALL!!! All you need is to understand some simple concepts like a restock agents, simple macros, and organizer agents. All razor, all easy peasy.

Since Telamon is saying he does the final sort by hand, I assume his macro is even simpler!! Just throw crap on different bags, and record a simple macro of: ID by type (a), pause 10s, ID by type (b), pause 10s, ID by type (c)... for all weapon types, or armor, or clothing...loop, open all the bags of unsorted loot and check back in the morning.

Then the PITA starts...sorting through all the crap.

Perhaps if you spent more time playing instead of spying on folks, you'd understand how to build a simple ID macro.

It's funny that people keep trying to go after Telamon because they think he cheats, when in reality he is just smarter/better than them at UO lol. He is like the non PVP version of Sandro.

You said let the community decide so here's what I think.

I don't see how this is cheating. People macro a variety of things AFK and since there are no resources gained here, it's not exactly a bannable offence, especially if you consider that the final sorting has to be done manually - and that's the sort of manual work, that's a pain in the ass even with a few items.

One could consider this gaining an additional (meta) resources AFK as ID'd items yield more CUB points - if there ever was another CUB. However, that is a very long shot and as there are no items duped or additional items created this way, that isn't exactly cheating either.

I don't either see how it is necessary from an established player like yourself Brules to draw Lelouche or Dren into this discussion. There is a trash talk section in the forums where you can cast a slur on others, so why not keep it there...

What is more alarming here, however, is someone's level of envy surpassing the point where he actually has to stalk a person in a virtual world to see what he is up to. If you want to learn from the smart players, I'd say go around and ask for advice - they are (and have proven to be) smart enough to give you answers, or at least deny your request in a polite enough manner.

What also is a bit alarming is that people are actually hoarding items in belief that there will be another CUB eventually...50 000 items for preparing something like that - thank god we are not all as hard-working and dedicated people as Telamon, or otherwise there would actually be the need to clean up items soon.

But then again, people prepare for the end of the world and zombie invasions in real life, so it's not exactly a big deal to do preparations for an event in UO.

Hoarding items for CUB is basically a self fulfilling inevitability, is it not?
