UO Second Age

From an IDOC I received a chest with 35 T maps. I've opened 7 and so far it went: 4, 4, 4, 4, 3, 4, 4

I have 28 left. At this rate there would be 24 level four and 4 level 3s, but I am really suprised there wasn't a level 5 in the sample. I'd assume theres a few in there!

Take the lot for 260k firm. Otherwise they will sell to the insatiable Charley in approx 24-36 hrs.

Just as an update for anyone interested, after digging up 25 maps:
299k in gold

751 magic items ( currently unidentified )

I'll give you the list of "keepers" when I ID all the items so we'll have a little more information as to the quality of loot coming out of t-maps these days.

3 of the maps were level 5 which I don't do, so I sold them and included it in the gold total above.

it's not that great buddy, definitely not what it use to be, i was usually guaranteed at least 1 vanq, now you're lucky if you get 1 even doing lvl 5's, in terms of armor i only keep fort and invul, that doesn't happen too often either, i only keep force weapons +, cept bows, i sell them to NPC if they're not +15 force, so with that being said, i keep at most 5 items if i'm lucky, and that includes the gheal, lighting, and fireball wands, and any reflect, invis, or tele stuff as well, so i may not even get the quality of weapons i look for, money is still pretty good though, good luck to you though

in the past 2mos or so i have done numerous(about 150) tmaps of all lvls. my experience with items is not too great...
I have found a few invis items, perhaps about 5
i have not found ANY teleport of magic reflect items...
I did also find a +10Vanq Hally on a Lvl 2 or 3 map, don't rem which.

that being said, im begining to think you cant find GREAT items on maps all the time as they are becoming much more rare.

I've done a ton of maps in the past couple of months and had very few "keeper" weapons. The few keepers were ghouls touch weapons, they were not because the dmg/tact mods were any good. Loot on tmaps is awful now :/
