There were about 5 people involved in the loophole. One would cast energy field and get you frozen and 4 others would throw explosive potions and they would loot the bodies. Lord Phillip was the main guy collecting and casting. Please correct bug and restrict energy field from being cast in town.

thats not a bug. cast teleport, chug a pot, mini heal. part of the game that keeps you on your toes

You can cast field spells outside a town gate in and cast them inside. I did this with poison field a few times. Might find a good way to do that with fire field and resist maybe, without a gate just outside the borders of town. If it worked with the mages of wind....who knows...

you can cast energy field and wall of stone in town with out leaving anymore.

You should be able to call guards,s and report all five for murder, it doesn't sem like players would be able to do this very long before becoming red. It's also criminal to loot a blue body in town, and ghosts can call guards. Maybe I'm misinterpreting this report.

It's completely possible to kill players in town like this, however it doesn't make much sense to me after a first reading that anyone would. If I'm missing something can you please expand on your post?

Well I want to report an odd one.. I understand fully well about the techniques of firebombing people in town with explo pots, and using gates to get away and avoid being flagged criminal. What I do not get is how they were able to dry loot me after I was without getting the guards called on them by the NPC's for looting me.. I literally walked away to take a piss aqnd come back to a gray screen - I walk to get ressed, and I get back to be dry looted. I at least expected to see a body laying next to mine for looting me. BTW, the jerkoff pulling this off in mage shops name is Torrance, with the aide of other people or his other account(s) If you are macroing and see this guy hide nearby against the wall, know the fire will follow lol. Enjoy the regs Torrance, whatever bug you used to get em.

PS - edit.. his sidekick is named "a dog" - not sure if this is him or not but good to look for both names in on this little bug/scam/whatever it is..

it isnt a bug...they are using a newbie character to loot as much as he can before he gets guard whacked. After that char gets whacked they loot whatever it is he got. Then they gate the dead character out of town and rez him, return him to town, and repeat. If you go afk at the bank it is a risk you are taking.
