UO Second Age

So I was finishing one last treasure map for the night, a level 4 at location number 92... There is a small house that you can see as soon as you recall in. There were people macroing in it, so I went along with my map, I was about 3/4 done and stacking my gold behind a tree, putting the loot in my inventory.... then 2 blue players Spray & Slayn Darkstar run out take my pile of gold and *try* to kill my treasure hunter (Dave Matthews). I recall in with a hally mage, fight them 2v1 nearly killing one until they ran inside to get mana - come back out and almost got me so i recalled.
I think I'm pretty decent to everyone here, so do what you would like with this information. Tmap #92. The little pile of gold is pennies to me, but this will not be forgotten until they return it to me, or move where they'll be safe until i find them again.

I hate how pvp on this shard is always composed of multi-accounting. Le Sigh. You attack someone and their alts recall in. You pvp and you got alt-account bots helping. While ive never used bots, im def guilty of using two orcs at once...sadly its a form of adaption I wish I didn't have to use ^_^

I have there 7x Hally mages and 2 dexxers for this reason... Why not keep macros running? =)

Whenever I kill certain people, before their corpse even hits the ground they have an alt recalled in and attacking me/gating out their mare. And then of course attempting to grab their magic hally.

People should just accept their death and relax, lol. Being a ghost standing around your corpse is part of the UO experience. Sometimes you'll get a res and some loot back. I've even given people their mares/dark shadow colored ostards back next to not looting them at all, people should give the decision to the victorious one! Ghosts have no choice in these matters, don't use alts!

I go back for revenge, not my loot... don't mind losing that at all. It's useful in 2v2 situations.

Anyways off topic!! Tmap #92 people!
They refuse to even fight me when they're alone...

Funny story...the other day the orcs killed some guy in the ice dungeon and his mare was there and poisoned. He recalled in an alt and his alt died too. By this point, he was recalling in his third char and the small orc party was scattered/killed but his mare still died. Maybe he woulda had more luck had he been able to play all 3 at once

I wonder if the Spray in this screen shot is one and the same as you mention in your tale.

If it is, perhaps they were upset over the fact that I killed all 4 characters in that house (hence why my normally blue char is macroing off counts at the moment)




I can't say this is revenge for what happened to you, but hey, I know where they live and I'd be happy to revisit them often. They may have learned why it's bad to macro next to house walls though.

Haha excellent. That's the place alright. They did seem to learn about macroing next to walls (the hard way of course). I'm working up some colorful schemes with others to make there next few days/weeks less then peaceful... Until at least they try to contact me begging for mercy =P

I was a little concerned as many people have been saying I take this game a little too personally. After reading this thread I don't feel so bad

LOL, never done this before... It was 4am when all that happened. None the less, can't back out now =P

As promised, I am not stopping until I am contacted and my 10k is returned to me. They had the nerve to say it was me giving the grief... With the help of someone who read this forum, and heard me on IRC - a tiny taste of revenge was handed out tonight. I left a book with very simple instructions to return the gold they stole and I'll leave them in peace (I'll let the fact of them trying to murder Dave Matthews (my carto) slide.) The first book I left they egged me on by making it say "gained .2 healing, thanks!"....

Ironically enough, Spray happened to have a Tmap of an unknown lvl (as of now) on her.

I was contacted by a friend of the people in question and paid the gold. We met in Skara - myself, the friend, and one of the accused. Turns out they are still fairly new to the shard and almost quit. After one of the accused turned up, the 10k given to me by the friend was given to the accused. The matter was talked out, and the friend and I offered our help in the future. They will be left alone, and I will hunt location #92 again in peace.
