Old Napa Player Looking for a Free Shard

I used to play UO back in the day

the T2A tank mage/dexxer/thief era

I have not played since UO:R so I am extremely rusty

I have to play on a server that has the old school t2a version of UO. I loved playing back in those days
I want to play a server with great community
lots of pvp but strict pk laws (stat loss & super long murder count times) I hate grief-ers and blue pks

I miss the old days of hanging out at a spawn spot, forming a guild with a charter and fighting pks or d!#^&bag guilds.

I want to be able to work on my chars for a while, I don't want a 7x gm in a few days. (I always thought working on a char was the best part. )Being a noob, trying to survive by making friends, ect

I want to play a server that's dedicated to old school Ultima Online. I also want a server with more noobs. If every PK has a vanq hali and no one even bother to talk.
what kind of events does it have. what kind of population should I expect. Are dungeons barren death traps for noobs? is the shard stable, how long has it been around, can I donate if I totally love the shard

I can't hang in pvp worth shit cause it's been almost a decade :)

CHECK. This servers goal is to be T2A, not some majorly altered ghost of it.

CHECK. 8 hour short term counts for stat loss, long term 40 hour counts for red. Like T2A.

CHECK. This all depends on how hardcore you are but I do not believe this server has faster skill gain and there is certainly no power hour, donation skill balls, or anything like that.

CHECK. I rarely see a vanq, though people know better than to bring a vanq to fight orcs ;-)

Daily are tourneys, CTF, and last man standing. These are fairly automated and provide a great place for people to have a bit of fun. The seer on the shard has been quiet lately but when the Bloodrock first came here we jumped in and played the 'bad guys' in a big quest he was running. Are dungeons barren? Nope. The shard is stable, I rarely see it crash and you can see the chart for online accounts here: http://my.uosecondage.com/stats.aspx. And of course you can donate, whether you love the shard or not ;-)

thanks for taking the time to respond to my post. I am sure you hear it a lot. I can bring 3-4 more players with me. I tried another server, let's not name any names.

my friends all quit because there was no community and everyone was a huge prick. not one person said 1 word to us outside of town. just killed us for worthless gear

I am rolling up a character
I can play 6 hours a day at work! ;) graveyard security company. I monitor computers and am encouraged to do something to help keep myself awake ;)

look for me out and aboout
my newbie character is Le Tigre

Welcome to Second Age! We've done our best (and still working on it) to create a truely authentic T2A era shard, always working to improve it and feedback from era players is always helpful in getting the kinks out so if you notice anything that seems off don't hesitate to bring it to our attention.

Enjoy!

Letigre, I have been here 4 or 5 days and so far I am loving the shard, I never played in the insta hit era but I'm trying to get used to that myself. But overall I'm having fun right now training my thief so I can take your first 500gp you earn. :)

Yeah, I don't think you could've found a more suitable server tbh.

This is the only t2a shard left in the shard community worth playing that strives for era accuracy. If you're truly looking for an accurate t2a era shard you are in the right place.

In terms of community I would recommend seeking out the players named "ian" and "Ulichsy", they are testament to what an understanding and accepting community this shard is.

Sweet a fellow Napa Valley player! I quit playing Napa around late 2001 (and UO all together), but I can only remember a select few 'randoms' besides my RL friends that played. I remember becoming friends with a guy named Artful Dodger in the last year or so of playing...

Anyways, if you need any help, send me a pm. Welcome!
