UO Second Age

I just recently found out about this freeserver today and it seems really nice. However, i have downloaded the game file from all links in your download section without it working (it had all the errors that were mentioned in other posts such as the unknown clilocs and such). i have even put my old uo:r disk in and tried patching all the way up to see if that helps. It helped by removing all the error messages but now i cannot get past the char selection screen without the game freezing up and stalling. i am currently on UO patch version 4.0.4b (Patch 146) if that helps.

Perhaps try patching to 5.0.8.3? That is the recommended client.

It sounds like you may be logging in, then as its trying to load what your character see's it crashes. Also, can you log in another character and/or create one if you have no others? I had a weird issue like that and I was able to log in another character just fine. I think it fixed itself.

On the previous screen, the login page, what does it say your client version is?
