UO Second Age

a year or so is passed since i left t2a.after all this time my desire for uo is grown again.at first i gave osi a chance,because "hey look at all those new expansions,maybe the game has became better!".it isnt.
no way,aos ruined it all.ok then,lets go to hybrid!.the good was that my old toon was still there,therefore i was able to get into action fast.the bad was that it took me very little to remeber that hybrid was on the trammel side too,with all those banksitter and thousand of lbs of blessed stuff.my option then wasnt that many.inside me i knew there is only a shard worth playing,and that shard is,as you can guess,uosa.yes uosa...,perfect era,perfect population,no crap,perfect everything...well,almost everything.
and now finally is the time of my complain.sorry about that,but i have to try,at least once every year.so...
why snooping is so badly nerfed?why?just why?why everyone hates the thief so much that it cant be at full potential not even in a t2a server?you talked about "era accuracy",i know.but all that era accuracy was based on the single only post in hystory that can ruin thieving in this era,wrote by people who had very little knowlede about uo,and was talking about a change that,if ever,was brought by a patch and removed with the next one.it lasted like two weeks (if ever) and our time frame is -exactly- those 2 weeks.uosa thief must have bad karma or something.i am all for full era accuracy and no custom,but this is maybe the only occurence in wich this can truly be overflown,without creating a record.we are talking about 2 weeks!,this is not like favor someone,this is like make things as they was for the 99% of the era.
everyone is so concerned about tankmage,everyone is talking about tankmage,and noone cares about the most glorious of all professions.so glorious that goes far behind mere pking or being leet,and made everyone in history trying to nerf her.dont nerf her here.i just think that things could be different,no one will be offended neither favored,and everything will just be the way it really was.(that is,perfect).

A year or so has passed since I left T2A. After all this time, my desire for uo has grown again. At first I gave OSI a chance because I thought the expansions would make the game better....they didn't. Age of shadows ruined everything.

I went to Hybrid and my old toon was there and was able to get into the action soon but it wasn't long before I remembered that hybrid was a trammel shard with all its bank sitters and blessed crap. I realized that this was the only shard worth playing. Uosa has the perfect population with no garbage except for one thing that I have a grievance with... Snooping is nerfed here bad. I couldn't understand why, based on one old post, that my favorite kind of character could be so bad and could be changed based off of people who know very little about uo. I understand that era accuracy is important but would like you to fix my class to workable.

ty for the translation,is almost what i mean,but u (intentionaly?) forgot the part where i say that the whole thing is messed for just a couple of weeks.and it also seems that i just a random guy whining for his favorite class and an outsider of your comunity,i feel like there is sarcasm in ur grammar help,if not sorry.maybe (or not maybe) i cant speak english,and i can be random(wich i not,but say yes),but i was just telling my point of view.and the most important things is that a change applied for a couple weeks is something that now we have to keep forever,and i think is just not right.fell free to say that u (u at plural i dont want to flame anyone) like this because u hate thief and would prefer to see him nerfed to trammel.just take a minute to think of this like u do with tank or tamer.

I just did a once over of it and wrote down everything i fully understood.

What you could do is write something like this.

My problems with uosa:

That kinda thing. Short and simple is easily readable.

ok,i'll try
1.i want the perfect shard
2.such shard should be 0% trammel
3.other shards i have tried does not respond to this requirement
4.uosa does responds to this requirement
5.with the exception of stealing
6.that is ruined by a patch created in 1999 for carebear purpose
8.in real t2a,such patch was removed few weeks later.(and replaced shortly after by trammel itself,but this is another story)

solution:

a.remove that patch from uosa
b.that wont be era inaccurate because for 2 years of t2a that patch did not exist
c.this is era inaccurate just because uosa timeframe falls exactly during those few weeks

I mean no offense, but the 1, 2, 3 point-by-point really does help make your grievance easier to understand. Though I still may not get it. You're not saying that stealing's broken, right?

I agree that snooping should be un-nerfed. But I would like to point out that after stealthing you can re-hide just before snooping and not be revealed, supposing this is the nerf you're talking about.

thats the exact nerd hes talking about ahving to time your hide cool down to execute a snoop out of stealth to have someone just move when you do it rather frustrating. cause you to have to hide - wait 10- hit stealth - wait 10 seconds- walk to target - hide - snoop rather then hide - wait 10 seconds - stealth - snoop its can be worked around but meh its quite the nerf and what he says is correct regarding the change only existing briefly in era.
