Restricting Ridable Llamas and Ostards to T2A.

For ideas on how to make Second Age a better shard. Can it get any better? Maybe.

Stuck menu was added August 7th of 2000, which was several months after the UOR publish as I kind of expected.

Yeah.

I wonder though...what if you began casting gate and then recdu'ed over to T2A before the spell completes. ^_^

Probably not since the validation check is based on when you target instead of when you're casting. At least that is how it works in the RunUO code.

Found this today while researching.
T2A Travel Delay May 11 2000 1:54PM CST
The voice triggered teleporters will have the same delay placed on them as player cast gates. Players will now be required to wait a minimum two seconds when traveling via this method. Attempting to travel to and from the T2A lands multiple times will cause this wait period to grow longer. The waiting period will cap at approximately 32 seconds before resetting to two seconds.
This would be considered out of era by one month.

I'm considering removing the stuck menu. The stuck menu was put in place of course to ease the load on staff, so that players who really were physically stuck, which does happen due mostly to client version problems, could help themselves. Removing this would put an additional burden on us as staff when we are on, and make it impossible for truly stuck players without magery to unstick their characters when we are not on. This would however have the benefit of bringing back the true era despair of being totally stuck on an island with no way off but to get another character and buy a boat.

All the towns on the list are blue towns, so it's not ever been presented to reds.

I found this while researching. It shows that green acres was a valid way to bring t2a creatures to the old lands.

maybe im just not understanding whats going on in that pic, but how does it validate that green acres was used? i see no reference to it in that pic anywhere, other then the guy talking about a pink gate, which i have never seen or heared of.

"god lands" is referred to the green acres on OSI..

back during 99' nobody has a open source copy of UO and very few knew what the green acres was, let alone knew that's what it was called
