House-break-in by friended ppl bug

REPORTED ISSUE: players that are friended to a house, which contains more

floors, are able to get to secured parts of the house by using this bug.

ISSUE DETAILS: When a friended player drops a box (or small table etc.) on the same tile as he is standing on and then logs out and back in, he'll end up one floor higher.

ENVIRONMENT DETAILS: any house with floors.

STEPS TO RECREATE: You have to be friended to a house with floors. Drop a box (or small table etc.) on the same tile you are standing on. Now log out and back in.

EXPECTED RESULTS: You now will end up one floor higher.

Pro tip: Watch who you friend.

How can this be era accurate? Also this isn't helping running a guild.

Please search the forums for more info about this. Like most changes to the server, it has been discussed at length in the past, along with links to in-era sources that point towards it being accurate.

These type of era accurate bugs really need to be taken out.

Many people don't even know about this and its a game breaking bug.

precasting was another era accurate bug that was fixed with uor we going to remove that to ?

This isn't a bug. It is a feature. That people take advantage of.

This era accurate "bug" has pro's and con's, much like almost anything in the shard. It is a policy decission by the Admins to keep it in or take it out.

I am not posting on behave of my guild and our guilds have had no issue's with this bug. I do know a guild who did. As a newer player on this server in a guild with no vets we were not aware of this 'feature'. Good to know that I do not have to walk upstairs and have to access the key to get in the locked room upstairs. Just drop a box - log out and in - and tada I am upstairs! Yes, makes sense :)
