Re: Moonglow small for sale - Ocean front property!
bump
So, I'm obviously new here, as this will be my third post ever. Is my "new-ness" why nobody has responded about this house? (i.e. - I don't have a good enough reputation on the forums for someone to take a chance and make a deal with me). I, personally, thought it was a pretty sweet location so I'm just curious.
Although I'm new, I've noticed it seems most of the vets on here are pretty helpful. Perhaps someone could offer a suggestion for me for how to make the sale of this house easier. Or am I just being impatient?
I've also noticed there seem to be "brokers" on the forums for selling houses. Would it be better to contact one of them?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

Apoc,
I agree that it is a pretty nice location. However, many smalls near glow have been sold in the past couple weeks so the market has probably slowed a bit. Be patient and a buyer will come and snatch it up from you. If you are newer and inexperienced, most people will request a broker. Don't take offense to it, housing is easy to scam and brokers help things go smoothly. Take a look at the broker thread to find a trusted broker viewtopic.php?f=72&t=31980 - I personally can vouch for Telamon and Glenco, but the others listed in the thread are very trustworthy as well.
Hope this helps a little. If you have any querstions shoot me a PM.

It is a cool spot,
I'm sure it could have good uses, for example a new player could easily get characters to that island and utilize that house with relative ease and safety even without regs, spellbooks, or combat skills.
Has a lot of charm.

Thanks OneEyedJack.
I certainly wouldn't take offense to someone asking to use a broker. Its perfectly understandable. I'm familiar with UO and I know how easy it would be to scam someone (I played on Napa Valley for about 4 years but left UO about 9 years ago). I just discovered UOSA and am loving it. I was just hoping to make myself a little extra money by placing a house and selling it. Was surprised I found such a nice location. I almost want to keep it for myself.
I'll be patient.
So do the brokers just act as a trusted middle man or do they help me find buyers?
Thanks for the info!

Its just that small spots are easy to come by - so unless it makes an epic vendor location, or a prime mining spot - there really is no demand for smalls like this. I would deed it and save up for a larger house, as there is little to no profit in selling smalls. Good luck!

Thanks for the input everyone. I guess I'll just keep it for now and use it until I can afford to buy a larger place. I'll leave this thread up just in case someone sees it and wants to buy it. I appreciate all the help!
