It's about time they have been prohibited. However, there are still a minority of event participants that use the forums and IRC as a way of gathering the information; in this case, they may continue to use stools not knowing it is now bannable. So, in addition to posting here Nevermore, I encourage, if you haven't already, to put signs up or make it clearly obvious that stools are no longer allowed in the survivor game room somewhere.

Maybe add a Golden Stool to the event area that's name is the Rule ..

Add it to the event details: POTS: YES, FREE USE: YES, FOOTSTOOLS: NO

More footstools, less events!

I thought the footstools made it more intresting..;/ was fun too watch 2 with footstools to see who was going to win!

Thanks for this post. Not that I do events but I never would have seen Nevermores post. Clearly the stickies are important but there have been so many unchanging stickies for so long, it has become habit to just scroll past and ignore them.

Why not edit the event so footstools near insta decay, or any footstools on a person are moved to their bank upon joining the event? Would be less drama and avoid the whole "i didnt know/didnt see the sign"

It's a quick fix until there's time to find a proper solution and code in it. And I'm not really too concerned with people who don't read the signs because it's fairly obvious that footstool blocking isn't okay. Honestly the idea hadn't occurred to me at all so I didn't put in a specific check or rule or it when the game first came out, but if I wanted this to be a 'who can box in the most mobs with footstools game' I would've named it 'who can box in the most mobs with footstools game' instead of 'Survival Game'.

that does sound like a fun event!

Easy solution, just have everyone provide a stool sample before the event.
