UO Second Age

So there I was in the north of minoc, just north of K^A and up a bit, and I found a cave full of statue spawning Ettin Knights.

I've got so much silver now.

WTF are ettin knights?

Wasn't there a K^A event up in that area the other day? They might be leftovers from that event.

They still spawn kekeke

That's a loaded question, because it presupposes that killing a spawning creature is explotation.

I killed the spawning monsters and took their loot.

Shit there dropping silver now?? I was farming them all weekend and no sign of silver.

Either the spawn has changed, or I am merely pretending they are spawning silver to get nerds like Populus all wound up.

Which option do you find the most likely? If the latter, in Populus' case did it work?

It was a player designed event that unfortunately did not have the promotion it deserved. I'd also like to see the wander range increased on the spawn next time.
40+ ettins in one cave makes it quite difficult to get in there without a few dragons on hand.
