ok ive just thought of something.
and tested it on the server.
please point it out to me if i am wrong.
if your swing timer is refreshed. should you be able to equip any weapon and swing right away, when factoring in the use delay...?
i was testing this with q-staff/archery. (i know there is a 1second delay on firing and 1second flight delay)
hitting a corpser with a q-staff moving back 1 tile and wait for q-staff to refresh and then equipping my heavy x-bow. which seems to have to wait for the entire length of a archery shot, to be able to shoot upon equiping???
is this correct?
just curious, i dont see in patch notes that say this isnt the case.

been testing some things, looks like bows will still insta hit?

currently:
you can hit with a melee weapon, refresh your swing timer and swap to a bow for a intra hit.
with changes:
you must wait for the duration of the new equip'd weapon to expire starting from your last weapon swing.
could not the 1st system still ring true?

we tested that out and it was changed,
you coudl basically equipa dagger, fire heavy xbow insta
equip dagger
instea fire heavy xbow
equip dagger fire heavy xbow
was basically a chain gun heavy xbow

Create food now creates the food in the backpack. A wider range of food can be created as well.

Create food now creates the food in the backpack. A wider range of food can be created as well.
I'll change it back. I hadn't considered the effect of feeding mounts.Create Food: Creates Hams when cast. Why hams? A quantity effect based on magery would be nice.

The bow must be equiped. There is only one swing timer, and when you're unarmed it's behaving as wrestling.venox wrote:Q:

These additional items have been added to this patch and will be live in the morning:
- "Make last item" for most crafting skills. Either target the tool to make last item, or choose make last from the menu in the case of Blacksmithy. This is not yet implemented for inscription.
- Due to this change, Tinkering now requires resource selection
- No more passive skill gains for crafting, meditation, or anatomy
- Tourney Leaderboards limited to top 100 due to a book page overflow client crash when opening the book.
- Fancy shirt acts as arms armor when nothing else is work on the arms
- Sheep have a slight chance to avoid being shorn
- GM made world maps now show correct Scale
- Sudden Death begin time in tourney matches now multiplies by the number of players per team
- Barrel Hoops spelling correction item
