I would like to cordially thank the staff for insulting me when i asked for help omn irc. I got the help so I guess they do try. But do not expect anykind of respect from them. expect only insults. hope new comers are warned by this post. good day

How exactly was the staff rude?

after i received the help I was laffed at and my intellegence insulted. i was made to feel that I was being pointed at while they laffing saying liar. If your supposed to help folks...you should help em even if they made a mistake of no knowing. with out insulting them after.want to do so at your desk with out expressing it thats your choice but one shouldnt express it.

well honestly when one asks for a staff member to help and receives help one might assume it to be a staff member who answered. I had conversations with others prior to specifically asking for staff. and honestly the fact that I know not who the staff is here I suppose it is possible to be some troll as you say. If that were true then I would owe the staff a very large appology.

Im guessing it wasn't staff. staff are great here.

if it was indeed staff tho, take it up with derrick and he will flog them.

You must be new to this whole "internet" thing.

For what it's worth the one and only time I've ever needed a staff member's help, I pm'd one in IRC and got a response by the time I woke up and everything was sorted.

Patience and don't ask in the general public room else you'll get trolled hard by the same people that do their best to mess up your in game life too.

If you feel you were treated poorly by a staff member, the best way to resolve the issue is to privately contact Derrick through Forum, IRC, or email.

thank you...this i did not know...and I deeply appologize to all staff for my accuzation..as the one who i assumed to be a staff member did not have that symbol in his name. sorry for this ...I am more knowledgeable on this now

Sometimes I give a rambling speech about how I vicariously run the shard because all important decisions get the okay by me first... But not to this guy.

I am the supposed staff member that was "rude" to Tayness. Never did I identify myself as such, but he asked if "a staff member could answer a question"

I helped him reset his forum password because he was unable to log-in with the password he had supposedly been using for "months". After that worked for him, he asked why his password had stopped working, at which point I asked him if he sure he wasn't just high or something, and repeatedly typing in the wrong password. The suggestion that he might be under the influence of drugs apparently offended Tayness, because he declared that I was being very rude to imply such a thing and that he does not want to play on a shard full of drug users. Tayness then disconnected from irc before I could assure him that only 75% of the users here are active drug users.

I wish I had saved the chat logs because it was pretty funny. Pretty sure this guy is just trolling.
