Given that $$$ are now pretty much inactive, I really think their tower in Moonglow has reached the end of its lifespan. Tabius is inactive, Marfu quit logging in a long time ago, and that basically leaves Wise. I haven't seen an $$$ event for months, I haven't even seen a lot of activity on their vendors for a while.

Right now all the $$$ addons do are basically sit there and generate money for Wise. I've got nothing against Wise but that's not fair regardless of who the player in question is.

I'm prepared to be proven wrong on this.

I don't agree that simply running events should get anyone addons.

When I started here, guilds could get addons through a pricing list one of the GMs had setup and there was a hefty monthly upkeep as well.

This seems far more reasonable, fair and UO oriented to me... So I won't vote on this poll

Fit, schedule a server wipe where everything outside your bank is nuked, including houses and add-ons.
I just got here so that would be awesome for me

I agree with you on both counts, I only mentioned the events to illustrate the fact that they are now clearly inactive as opposed to their previous active state, when they ran regular events involving and benefiting the whole community.

You should not get addons merely for running events, but events are an excellent way of proving that a guild deserves to be allowed to purchase addons.

Due to their inactivity, I might vote to get rid of the add ons, but not the tower. T-B is pretty much non existent but I dont want to see that duel arena go.

town addons are UOSA history. i'd vote to leave them.

LoL, what qualifies as inactive? This year we have had several cock fights, including the King of Cocks event. We also had a 200,000 visitor event and gave away 200k in gold. The $$$ Tower is by far the most used rune tower and is currently at 238,000 visitors.

In addition to all the above, we also run the most comprehensive and active new player housing on the server.

Tell me again how $$$ is inactive? lol

Why don't you wipe the sarcasm off that remark and be honest by admitting that all of the things you just mentioned happened months ago? You and Wise are literally the only $$$ members that I know of who even login anymore.

Please define inactive, as I think your accusation is totally unwarranted. For several years $$$ has been a very small guild. The largest I have ever seen it was maybe 4-5 fully active members. It has never been anything but a small group....maybe in the very begining they were large, but for the last 2 years (I've been in for just over a year) it has been very very small.

Also, up until about 30 days ago Wise was stocking all of his vendors and actively playing and crafting. Chaos ran the reg vendor. So no, it isn't like Wise was reaping un-warranted benefits that you are accusing him of. Vendors can't make you money unless you keep them stocked. As it stands now they are all empty and are not making anyone any money.

Also, the 200k visitor lock in and gold gather was not a forum announced event, but it was held in the last few months.

I could understand if no one was playing, but that is definately not the case.....$$$ never has and never will be a KA or WL, so judging us by their #'s is not fair. We are here, we are active, 238,000 people and countless new players would probably agree that $$$ is still doing posotive things for UOSA.

I voted no. they should NOT be removed. They are part of the shards history. Plus, Brules is still active and running the place.

Simply put...if you remove the $$$ Add-Ons, you have to start removing Add-Ons the shard over as MANY of them fall into this category that chainsoar has tossed $$ into. If this is reason to remove the $$$ add-ons, then the 2-3 people that are keeping the other "dead" add-ons alive for spots all over the map should have theirs removed, also.

That having been said, NO. Do not remove them. They're part of the history of the shard at this point and many people use the rune library there. The rune library is routinely updated. This is a service to the shard. Good for them.

the tent should be removed, it's out of era and a bit ridiculous

the docks should stay they're part of the shards history

activity is not a requirement to keep add ons on OSI, and people use the docks

$$$ has been keeping their vendors stocked around britannia and running events so i vote no

I just started here a few weeks ago, and while I never needed much help as i had previous uo experience, I saw the new player housing forum posts updated regularly. I saw them being filled and emptied as new players got on their own feet and moved out. I say while this service is being provided, they($$$) retain active status regardless of other factors such as unstocked vendors etc. Maybe some of the current new player housing tenants ought to share their 2 cents.

I don't believe that things should be removed from the game like that. Those places become sort of a symbol of the history of the shard.

If the tower ever fell from inactivity, then the area should be wiped. But until that day comes, it should remain.
